308. Top five weirdest internet versions of “Hamlet”: Number 1

Anyone who is a fan of manga is probably going to want to read this. I’m not a manga person, but I’m willing to give this a shot. That’s right, ladies and gentlemen. The number one weirdest internet version of Hamlet is…

NUMBER ONE

“Hamlet Manga”

While I have never gotten into manga, I can appreciate the artwork and creativity that comes out of it, and this work is no exception. It certainly makes the play really exciting, very comic book-ish, which I think is actually a great way to present Hamlet to those who might otherwise be bored by it. It shows that the play is exciting and gripping despite its lofty language (which it doesn’t actually use in the manga, but that’s okay). Give it a look – it might be odd (really odd), but it is a real work of art.
