365 Days of Shakespeare

That's right – the Bard in a year.

232. Brains. Brains. Brains. 78 in a row. A new record, I imagine.

I want to see this movie.

I don’t even care if it is all that good. Anything called Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead gets my attention, generally for the same reason that Pride and Prejudice and Zombies got my literary ADD* to calm down long enough to read it.

To be honest, it sounds kind of ridiculous, but that will probably not stop me from trying to organize a screening. I’ll bring the popcorn.

*Literary ADD: a common affliction among English majors. Symptoms include reading multiple books at a time, rabidly debating whether Proust was brilliant, pretentious, or both, without realizing it was supposed to be a comparative essay on Nabokov and Proust rather than simply an argument about Proust’s gorgeous yet almost unreadable prose, and keeping a blog that chronicles 365 entries about Shakespeare while simultaneously writing a novel, a play, and at least a few new recipe articles for chump change.
