230. Deaf West

For those who don’t know about it, go Google it. Deaf West Theatre is one of the coolest things. Ever.

If you saw the movies A Lot Like Love or The Family Stone, you will be familiar with the marvelous Deaf actor Tyrone Giordano, who played Huck Finn in the Deaf West production of Big River. It eventually was on tour and went to Broadway for a while. Giordano has said that he loves The Tempest and wants to play Caliban someday and, when he is old enough, Prospero.
