215. Girl Crush: Lynn Collins

with one comment

For those who haven’t seen the most recent film incarnation of The Merchant of Venice, there is a stunningly beautiful woman named Lynn Collins who plays Portia.

For me, she really embodies the character, not only in looks (incidentally, she really looks the way I imagined Portia to look), but in grace and voice as well. I’d love to see Collins play more Shakespearean heroines, particularly those that require the regal presence that Portia usually brings!

I’d love to see her as Titania in particular, but she would also be a great Helena in All’s Well That Ends Well.

Thoughts?
