365 Days of Shakespeare

That's right – the Bard in a year.

150. Shakespeare, you MURDERER!!!

According to the new play Equivocation, which chooses to show Shakespeare not as the lofty playwright we think of today, but rather a struggling writer with a penchant for killing off monarchs.

In the way that the film Shakespeare in Love took liberties with facts about Shakespeare’s personal life and what inspired Romeo and Juliet, this play does the same with Macbeth.

Heartbreaking that it is all the way in New York City and only runs until March 28 – I would be there in a heartbeat!
