365 Days of Shakespeare

That's right – the Bard in a year.

139. It’s a Shakespeare Singalong!

Only if you know the words.

I came across this little gem from NPR, which is little more than a blurb but which has some great information. It concerns Shakespeare’s Songbook, a collection of 160 songs by Shakespeare which includes a CD of the music for your listening pleasure.

Check out the link if you want a little preview – there are a few excerpts from the CD. The one that struck me was “You Spotted Snakes” – I can’t help remembering the great melody Andrew Hamm came up with for the production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream we worked on last year!
