365 Days of Shakespeare

That's right – the Bard in a year.

60. No pressure or anything.

I cannot imagine taking on the task of editing a collection of Shakespeare’s works. As many times as I have read most of the plays and as many different editions as I have seen, I can tell you that there are sometimes huge differences between editions. And by “huge differences” I mean things like “spelling and punctuation”, which might not seem huge unless you’re trying to run a scene and realize that one comma makes the entire line different (true story: Much Ado rehearsal).

So I just want to take an opportunity to wish good luck to the next folks to take on such a task. Hope you don’t go crazy and only speak in iambic pentameter after you’ve finished. Godspeed.
